On Saturday 13 June, Piazzale Roma will be transformed into a large open-air theatre suspended between the sky and the sea with 'Riccione Air Dance - Radici in volo', the aerial acrobatic dance show open to citizens and tourists free of charge.

Promoted by the Lombard circus company Urban Gravity Academy, which celebrates 10 years of activity in 2026, and sponsored by the municipal administration, the show will start at 9.45 p.m. and will see on stage about 50 performers engaged in the various disciplines of contemporary circus: dance, ground acrobatics, aerial dance, acro pole, verticalism, contortionism, live music and singing.

"Radici in volo" is a poetic journey through emotional pictures - wonder, discovery, conflict, resistance and rebirth - told through the universal language of contemporary circus.

The roots represent daily work, shared growth, difficulties overcome together and the bond built over the years. The flight, on the other hand, is the freedom of art, the courage to expose oneself and transform every obstacle into scenic expression until landing on a national stage. The show is the story of a collective dream that crosses generations and different bodies: a tale in which fragility becomes competence, diversity a value and the fall an opportunity to get back up together.
